Company File

The Company File is a digital "file" in CR-Certify's Admin section where all information for a company is stored. When companies share a Federal ID Number and/or Vendor Number, those companies share a company file.

Expand or collapse content How do I get to the company file?

You can get to the Company File a few different ways. If you're on the Client or Contract home page, you can either use the [...] menu in the top right, or you can click on the folder icon next to the company name. Right clicking the folder icon lets you open the Company file in a new tab or new page.

If you're in the admin area, you can simply search for the company under the Manage Companies screen.

The Company Info tabs contains basic information about the company, such as company names (including DBA's), federal ID number, vendor number, and company addresses. 

Expand or collapse content Company Insurance

The Company Insurance tab is a record of a company's insurance, including types of policies they have, expiration dates, policy details, and any endorsements or exclusions. Please see the Company Insurance article for more detail.

The People tab lists the users associated with a Company. Users added at the Client or Contract level will show up on this tab, and any user added on this tab will cascade down to the Client or Contract levels.

The Documents tab includes insurance documents specifically uploaded on the Company File. Any document on the Company File will cascade down to the Client and Contract levels, but a document uploaded at either the Client or Contract level does not automatically show up on the Company File.
